Refund policy
At Bhupadh, hygiene and safety for infants are our highest priority. Due to the sensitive nature of baby products, most items are not eligible for return once opened. This policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled for all purchases made on www.bhupadh.com.
Non-Returnable Items (Hygiene & Safety):
For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on products for infants aged 0–12 months, including but not limited to:
- Rattles (wooden/crochet)
- Teethers
- Newborn gift sets
- Any product that can enter a baby’s mouth or come in direct contact with skin
- Sale or discounted items
- Gift cards
These products cannot be restocked, sanitized, or resold once opened. We encourage parents to review product details carefully before purchase. Our team is always happy to clarify any doubts before ordering.
Eligible Returns (Damaged or Defective Items Only):
Bhupadh accepts return or replacement requests only for:
- damaged products,
- manufacturing defects, or
- wrong items received.
To qualify:
- You must raise a request within 24 hours of delivery at contact@bhupadh.com.
- Include order ID, photos/videos of the product and packaging.
- The item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging with all tags.
- An unboxing video is recommended for faster claim resolution.
- Return requests raised after 24 hours of delivery cannot be accepted.
If approved, we will share the return instructions. Items sent back without prior approval will not be processed.
Return Outcomes:
For approved cases of damaged/defective products, we offer:
a) Replacement
- A replacement will be shipped at no additional cost.
- Pickup of the defective item will be arranged wherever pincode serviceability is available.
b) Repair
- If the issue is repairable, we will repair it at no cost.
- The customer will bear the cost of shipping the product to and from our workshop.
c) Refund / Store Credit
- Refunds for damaged items are generally issued as store credit/voucher after the product is received and inspected at our warehouse.
- This process may take 5–10 business days.
Conditions:
- Products damaged due to rough or improper handling after use (beyond 2 weeks from purchase) are not eligible for return or refund.
- Refund or replacement will be provided only after quality check approval.
Exchanges:
We accept exchanges only in the following situation:
- You received the wrong item, or
- a product with tampered packaging on arrival.
- Requests must be raised within 24 hours of receiving the product.
- Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
Products with Security Seal:
- Some products may be shipped with a security void seal.
- Exchange or replacement is possible only if the seal is intact and unopened.
- If the seal appears broken or tampered upon delivery, please share photos immediately before opening.
- Once the seal is opened, the product is considered used and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Refund Timelines & Method:
- Refunds (where applicable) are initiated after the returned product passes quality inspection.
- Refund will be issued within 10 business days of approval.
- Refunds for online payments will be credited to the original payment method.
- For COD orders, refunds will be issued via bank transfer or store credit.
- Payment gateway timelines may vary depending on your bank.
- If 15 business days have passed since refund approval, please contact us at contact@bhupadh.com.
Repeated Returns:
To ensure fair use of our policies, Bhupadh reserves the right to decline return/refund requests from customers with more than 3 returns in a financial year.
Order Cancellation Policy:
- Orders can be cancelled within 2 working days, provided the item has not been shipped.
- Once shipped, the order cannot be cancelled.
- Cancellation requests must be emailed to contact@bhupadh.com with the order ID.
- Approved cancellations for prepaid orders will be refunded to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
